the name behind gracejan
Gracejan Design was founded in 2016 and developed from TRACE Visions & Media circa 2002. During the early stages of my career, I worked as a Graphic Artist & Designer, creating logos, business cards, and brochures. A blog or two were among my attempts at making websites. In the years that followed, I experienced life changes, a relationship, children, a hiatus, and the emergence of the internet all changed the nature of my business. As paper advertising became less and less important, my business began to focus on technical areas, expanding graphics to web.
The business name change was inspired by my Mother, who passed away in 2011 from a complication after a year of cancer remission. To name a few, I have dabbled in fine art painting, photography, sculpture, graphic design, and web design and development. Several of these mediums are interrelated, and my skills and creativity are shown through my web design & development work.
In my opinion, the worst outcome is when my clients are left with a website they have no idea how to update.
WordPress allows me to create websites with more flexibility and creativity. WordPress can be customized to meet the individual needs of each website client by focusing on the following aspects: easy navigation, eye-catching design, and SEO. Elementor, a website builder, not only allows for my creative flow to blossom, but also helps my clients achieve their desired website results. Clients have the ability to easily edit a website’s basic needs with Elementor’s drag-and-drop builder.
In my opinion, the worst outcome is when my clients’ websites become out-of-date because they are unaware of how to update them. After seeing this problem all too often, I decided to solve it by sitting with my clients to help them make small adjustments to their websites, such as changing images, text, or product prices.
web design & developer
As a web designer, I understand that not everyone knows how to build a website, and what I hear often is, “I’m not techy, like you or I wish I had that talent.” So the last thing I want to leave my client with, is a beautiful website that sits and gets stale. Using Elementor, I develop my clients’ basic ability to make small changes to their websites, such as changing product prices or adding new team members.
Now that you know a little bit about me and my process, I’d like to learn more about you and your business. I’m so excited to work with you and build an attractive, functional website!
Oh, and P.S. Word of mouth is the greatest compliment you can give. If you know anyone who is considering developing a new website or making changes to an existing one, please recommend me.
