Gracejan Design was founded in 2016 and evolved from TRACE Visions & Media in 2002. Starting my career as a Graphic Artist & Designer, I designed logos, business cards, and brochures. In my early attempts to design websites, I designed blogs. The years that followed brought life changes, a relationship, children, a hiatus, and the emergence of the internet, all of which transformed my business. I expanded my company into technical areas, expanding graphics to the web as paper advertising declined.
One of the biggest changes in my life occurred when my mother died after a year of remission from breast cancer in 2011. We were so close, she was a vital part of my life. My new business name was inspired by her name, Janis; meaning God is gracious.
I am a multidisciplinary creative with skills in fine art painting, photography, sculpture, graphic design, and web design. My creative work reflects this range of skills.

What makes WordPress so special? WordPress provides me with more flexibility and creative control when creating websites. A WordPress website can be customized according to the needs of each client by focusing on three factors: easy navigation, a strong design, and search engine optimization. Using a website builder like Elementor allows me to express my creative side, and is also user-friendly. Clients have the ability to easily edit a website’s basic needs with Elementor’s drag-and-drop builder.
I understand that not everyone knows how to build a website, and what I hear often is “I’m not techy, like you, or I wish I had that talent.” So the last thing I want to leave my client is a beautiful website that sits and collects dust. With Elementor, I help my clients to make simple changes to their websites, such as changing product prices or adding new members to their teams.
